Is it Possible?
Will we actually see the end of the beaucratic, convoluted and paper trail of the IRS? Will we actually see the U.S. be able to ward off recession and actually balance the budget? Will the working class no longer have to be the largest tax paying segment of our population? Will you actually be able to take home your paycheck without tax deductions as long as your arm?
The answer is yes, IF the present Fair Tax bill on the floor of congress is passed (HR 25 in the House, S25 in the Senate). It is the first bill that can actually work to accomplish all of the above--and more.
If you don't know what it's all about, visit www.fairtax.org and find out. It is time for reconstruction, not restruction. It is time for our consumerism to become a tool to get us out of debt; a time to show the world how capitalism really works in a Republic based on Democratic principles; to show the world we really are a nation governed by, of and for the people.

Re: Who are you Republicans kidding?
Conservatives do have the moral clarity that sadly liberals lack. Ms. Brazile obviously gets it and is willing to work together for progress.
So step aside, Looney Tune. Constant bitching, repeating MoveOn nutbag talking points, and earth mother chanting is not a plan of action. Nor will it get anything done.
Thanks for your inane comment over at my site.
BTW. Your blog site is filled is filled with the usual cliched complaining I've come to expect from a member of the bitter left. Way to cliche!
At least we leftists haven't lost our sense of humour; shame you conservatives have none.

Hey Porch, the rich republican right will not go for it. The poor democrats will not go for it either. The rich get a tax break now and the poor get their only reason for living: the refund tax check....
Thanks for your comment at my site!
2 points.
1. I AM NOT RICH. Hollywood Dems are rich, CEO's are rich, but not I.
2. I can't believe you don't think I have a sense of humor!
That is unwise, porchwise or other...
;)
Still haven't seen any humour, either in your blog nor in your comments.
